At 11 inches, it’s on the bigger side, which means a deeper, rounder tone that really fills a room. Still manageable to carry - 11” is my size of choice for sound events: bigger = more impactful, and often smoother to play. Only a couple of rotations are needed to get it singing and sustaining.

It’s tuned to A# in the 3rd octave (A=432 Hz). In the chakra mapping system that has become widely adopted among sound healers, A# is often linked with the endocrine system. Through that lens, A# connects with the pituitary gland, sometimes called the master gland, which plays a role in growth, cycles, and overall balance. I always remind people this isn’t hard science, but it’s an accessible way to tune into what your body might be echoing back.
